Sad Day For Rap (Kid Cudi Retiring)
Well G.O.O.D. Music artist KiD CuDi made a very interesting post on his online blog yesterday. It seems that the music industry has been taking it’s toll on CuDi, and he announced that he will no longer be releasing any solo albums.
“I will still do the collab album with Chip, And that will be my last studio recording.”
Come on CuDi, you have JUST started breaking into the music scene, and you want to quit already? I’m really thinking he won’t follow through with these statements, but who knows… I have seen way too many rappers announce their retirement and not follow through with it to believe this right away. This could be a publicity stunt, could be something he wrote in haste because he was in a bad mood, or maybe this is 100% real… Below is his exact text taken from his online blog.
AFTER THE RELEASE OF MY FIRST LP THIS SUMMER, IAM NOT MAKING ANY MORE SOLO ALBUMS. IAM FALLIN BACK ON BEING A ARTIST. THE DRAMA THAT COMES WITH IT IS MORE OVERWHELMING THAN THE SHIT I WAS DEALING WIT WHEN I WAS PISS POOR BROKE. MY FRIENDS GET MAD AT ME, SAY IVE CHANGED, ONE OF THE ONLY HOMIES I GOT IN THIS GAME, WALE, IS WORRIED ABOUT ME CUZ OF SHIT HE HEARS. LIKE WTF? WHO CAN SAY IM BEIN HOLLYWOOD? I DONT LOOK AT IT AS QUITTING, FOR I HAVE ALREADY ACCOMPLISHED MY GOAL. I HAVE A SOLID FANBASE WHO TRUELY APPRECIATES ME AND MY MESSAGES THRU SONG, I GOT MULTIPLE BIG RECORDS, I HAVE RECIEVED WORLDWIDE CRITICAL ACCLAIM FROM THE BIGGEST TASTEMAKERS IN THE GAME, 3 FAN MADE BEST OF MIXTAPES WITHOUT EVEN RELEASING MORE THAN ONE MIXTAPE AND NOT EVEN RELEASING A ALBUM, I CAN PAY MY MOMS MORTGAGE AND HELP MY SISTER WITH MY NIECE AND HOLD MY BROTHERS DOWN WITH WUTEVER THEY NEED. THATS WUT I GOT IN THIS GAME FOR, TO ACCOMPLISH ALL THESE GOALS AND I HAVE. NO REGRETS

Fernando Torres (Spanish Soccer Star)
Fernando José Torres is a Spanish footballer who plays for Premier League club Liverpool and the Spanish national team as a striker.
He started his career with Atlético Madrid, progressing through their youth ranks. He made his professional debut in 2001 and finished his career with the club having scored 75 goals in 174 La Liga appearances, earning himself the nickname El Niño ("The Kid") during his time in La Liga. Prior to this, Torres played two seasons in the Segunda División, making 40 appearances and scoring seven goals. He joined Liverpool in 2007, after the club paid their record transfer fee to sign him and marked his first season with the club by being their first player to score more than 20 league goals for the club in a season since Robbie Fowler in 1995–96.
He is also a Spanish international and made his debut for the team against Portugal in 2003. He has since participated in three major tournaments; UEFA Euro 2004, 2006 FIFA World Cup and UEFA Euro 2008. He was unable to score for Spain during the 2004 tournament, but did so on three occasions in the 2006 World Cup. Torres scored the winning goal for Spain in their 1–0 win over Germany in the Euro 2008 final.

Having a number of great opportunities to work with various sneaker brands including Nike, Clarks, New Balance and Red Wing Shoes, Concept’s Frank the Butcher wanted to find a way to showcase their successful projects in his office (obviously not the shoes seen here). While most look to protect footwear behind a glass case, the crew didn’t want to go this route due to the fact the shoe largely goes un-touched behind glass. Instead the method seen here allows for something a little more personal as well as providing a suitable method of showing their collaborations.
